Kawaii Goes Vintage — Geisha Style Reloaded
Kokon (pronounced koh-kohn) means “past and present” in Japanese — a tribute to the beautiful tension between old and new, tradition and reinvention.
Born and based in Japan, Kokon is not just inspired by Japanese culture — we live it, breathe it, and sometimes even wear it to the grocery store.
The name “Kokon” means “past and present” in Japanese. But don’t worry, we’re not here to give you a history lesson (unless it involves cute illustrations and retro color palettes).
We take the elegance of vintage Japan — think Showa posters, old-school kimonos, and a dash of grandma’s wallpaper — and remix it with bold, cheeky designs you’ll actually want to wear.
It’s retro with a twist. Tradition with a wink. Made in Japan with love (and a little weirdness).
Our motto?
If it’s not a little weird, it’s not Kokon.
So whether you’re into geisha-chic, sumo-themed stationery, or pancake-loving maneki-neko, come join our time-traveling circus.
We promise it’ll be oddly fabulous — and authentically Japanese.
